1.1 Background of the Study
Entrepreneurship is widely recognized as a critical factor for economic development, job creation, and innovation. In Nigeria, the youth population represents a significant portion of the workforce, and empowering students with entrepreneurial skills is vital for national economic growth. Digital media plays an increasingly important role in promoting entrepreneurship by providing access to online resources, networks, and training opportunities. Bida, located in Niger State, is home to many students who could benefit from entrepreneurial training and mentorship. Digital media platforms such as social media, blogs, and e-learning platforms offer students the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills, gain business knowledge, and connect with mentors. This study aims to explore the role of digital media in promoting entrepreneurial skills among students in Bida LGA, focusing on how digital platforms can support their entrepreneurial aspirations.
